Our word work focus this week is on the suffix, LYWe are talking about how adding LY to the end of the word changes the word. It makes the word describe how something is done. For example:
The students were happily working on spelling.
How were the students working? HAPPILY
(Sorry, I couldn’t resist that example!)

sweetly
dangerously
shyly
quietly
loudly
unexpectedly
horribly
