Weekly Update
This week we start into a new unit on Fractions. We have started a fun problem solving activity and will be spending our study hall time working on solving problems with various strategies.
In science, we are looking at ways that advancements in technology have impacted our lives. We will being to create our own inventions this week.
Homework
Monday: Unit 4, p. 44 Staying Fit
Tuesday: Baylor: Bring in a picture from a magazine or newspaper labeled wiht a fraction. We went over several examples of this today.
Strohecker: Unit 5 p. 13 Seashell Collection. Bring in any empty boxes, cans etc. from home. We will make our inventions out of these materials.
 
Wednesday
Strohecker: Unit 4, p. 14...the back of last night's homework
 
 
Thursday
Baylor: Unit 4, p. 13 Seashell Collection
Strohecker: Share your invention notebook with someone in your family. Have them sign the front. You can work on your notebook so that you can start to create your invention tomorrow at school.
 
Friday: No homework, unless YOU CHOOSE to work on your invention notebook.
 
Bring in any empty boxes, cans etc. from home. We will make our inventions out of these materials.
